Conversion from LaTeX to TEI xml

I just experimented with Sebastian Rahtz's OxGarage toolbox to convert simple .odt and .txt files into TEI xml, with excellent results.

Therefore, a way to migrate from LaTeX to xml can indeed be via .odt. Once converted a .tex file into .odt with TeX4ht, as detailed in this previous post, it should be possible to get some decent TEI markup with OxGarage.
